Maintenance/Building Assistant at Maarif School responsible for regular checks of school buildings and grounds to ensure safety, handling basic repairs, coordinating with outside vendors, enforcing safety procedures (fire alarms/extinguishers, emergency drills), assisting with cleaning, furniture/equipment setup for events, providing staff coverage and student supervision during lunch/recess/transitions, driving school vehicles (valid license) for school tasks, supporting major events (open houses, parent nights, programs), attending safety trainings, and maintaining a respectful, professional demeanor with students, staff, and visitors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance work
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team
- Physically able to lift, carry, and perform hands-on work indoors and outdoors
- School or facility experience is a plus
