Job Summary
Manage financial and sales accounting for the Commodity division, overseeing distribution of FMCG products including Parachute, Amul, and Rice. Prepare and review periodic financial reports, balance sheets, and MIS submissions while highlighting major variances between actuals and budget. Lead team performance, manage working capital, and ensure compliance with local GAAP and tax laws. Reconcile customer, vendor, and bank accounts, process supplier payments, and coordinate with auditors for annual closing. Submit monthly variance reports and support business analysis on new initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate or Post Graduate
- MBA
- Minimum 6 - 10 years' experience
- At least 2 years' experience in managerial position leading a team of 4 to 7 team members
- Good knowledge of sales and goods / services accounting
- Analysis of Trial balance and stock / customer / Salesman / vendor accounts / balance sheet
- Sound commercial knowledge
- Accounting knowledge to manage local GAAP & Tax laws
- Industry Experience: FMCG product mandatory
- IT Experience: SAP mandatory
