Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity and compliance checks, and collect insurance information for all hospital admissions. Operate the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls while adhering to organizational policies and providing compassionate customer service. Perform pre-registration of patient accounts, obtain necessary signatures for consent forms, and screen medical necessity using ABN software. Review eligibility responses, enter benefit data to support billing processes, and conduct audits of accounts to ensure accuracy and meet audit standards. This onsite role at Ballad requires a CRCR certification within six months of hire and offers a salary range of $17.00 - $18.15/hr with bonus incentives and tuition reimbursement.
