Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic x-ray procedures while fulfilling mid-office administrative and operational duties as a BXMO Technician, or provide professional clinical care for patients as a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse. Prepare, restock, and sterilize examination rooms and procedure areas; accompany patients to treatment rooms to measure vital signs, review medical histories, and prepare them for examinations. Assist providers during treatments, perform phlebotomy, injections, and specimen collection, administer vaccines and medications, and educate patients on care instructions. Manage front office tasks including patient check-ins, demographic confirmations, and insurance verifications. Work a 40-hour week with rotating 12-hour and 6-hour shifts, including every other weekend, with overtime availability based on patient volume.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CMA's: Hold an active Medical Assistant certification
- CMA's: Hold an active CPR/BLS certification
- X - Ray Techs: Hold an active BXMO certification
- X - Ray Techs: Hold an active CPR/BLS certification
- LPN's: Hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse certification
- LPN's: Hold an active CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation required
- 40-hour work week with 3 x 12-hour shifts and 1x 6-hour shift
- Every other weekend shift, Saturday and Sunday, required
- Must be able to travel to clinic locations outside preferred region during training
- Must be available for overtime hours
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must successfully complete a drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
