Hiring Director of Nursing (DON) in St Ignace, MI with $4400 Weekly Gross

Oversee all nursing services to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate resident care, including proper assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident outcomes. Supervise and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and nurse managers), recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating personnel while addressing performance issues. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by preparing for surveys, inspections, and audits, and lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Manage nursing department budgets, maintain accurate documentation, and develop policies consistent with regulations. Participate in facility leadership meetings and strategic planning while promoting infection control and safety programs. Full-time travel contract for 13 weeks in St Ignace, MI, with a guaranteed 40-hour schedule (5 x 8-hour days, Monday through Friday) and on-call rotation. Requires RN license for Michigan, 3-5 years of current RN experience, and 2 years of prior leadership or management experience.
