Job Summary
Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and hygiene support, for immobile, recovering, or frail clients. Assist with mobility, meals, and household tasks while maintaining a safe, tidy environment. Report changes in clients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to relevant parties. Engage clients in activities and accompany them on outings or to medical appointments. Ensure safe transfers and respect client dignity during all interactions. Maintain open communication regarding comfort levels and evolving needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification
- Up-to-date TB test
- Willingness to obtain CPR certification prior to starting
- Willingness to acquire an up-to-date TB test before beginning work
- Flexible schedule availability
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience in home care
