Job Summary
Cable puller to support new ship construction work, cable placement, pulling sheathed cables through ducts and stuffing tubes, and moving equipment and/or material. Must lift up to 50 pounds and work under direct supervision following clear instructions. Duties include installing cables in shipboard cableways, reading blueprints/technical manuals, using tools and winches to pull cables, securing cables, monitoring for hazards, and following safety procedures. Training provided on electrical/shipboard installations and reading technical documentation; potential reassignment to other duties as needed. Walk-ins accepted; English proficiency and ability to read basic instructions required; background check may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Must speak and read English.
- Must have a basic understanding of standard power tools and possess the ability to read / follow simple instructions.
