Job Summary
Teach Biology, Environmental Systems & Societies, and Environmental Management to Grades 9–12 students following the Cambridge curriculum. Plan and deliver inquiry-based lessons while developing assessments, worksheets, and resources aligned with Cambridge standards. Monitor student progress through regular evaluations, provide timely feedback, and prepare learners for Cambridge examinations and practical assessments. Maintain accurate academic records, prepare progress reports, and foster an inclusive classroom environment. Participate in faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events to support interdisciplinary learning and curriculum improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology and Environmental Sciences
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning
Desired Qualifications
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
- Prior experience teaching Grades 9–12 under the Cambridge curriculum (IGCSE/AS & A Level) is highly desirable
