Job Summary
The Master Technician performs vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on repair orders, following dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, performing authorized repairs, conducting multi-point inspections to ensure safety and reliability, communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors, documenting work on repair orders, maintaining inventory of tools, and staying current with factory bulletins and training. The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional customer experience, meeting production and customer-satisfaction goals, and contributing to a path of career growth within AutoNation across locations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years automotive technician experience
- Automotive technical training (varies by store)
- Valid in-state driver’s license and safe driving record
- Attention to detail
- Organization and follow-up skills
