Job Summary
Deliver the HIPPY program to families through weekly or fortnightly home visits, supporting parents to engage in their child's learning using fun and simple activities. Encourage participation in reading, play, and educational activities while assisting with planning and running HIPPY gatherings. Attend all training sessions, workshops, and supervision led by the coordinator, and link families with local services where needed. Work a maximum of 15 hours per week across three days, Monday through Friday, without school holiday requirements. Obtain a Working with Children check, National Police Clearance, and required vaccinations prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- A passion for supporting children's early learning and family wellbeing
- Willingness to travel locally for home visits
- Must obtain a Working with Children and young People check and National Police Clearance prior to employment
- Immunisation requirements – It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A and Pertussis (whooping cough) during their employment
