Job Summary
Develop and implement the HIPPY program, ensuring it meets service agreement requirements while maintaining an effective administration system with regular reporting. Provide support, supervision, and training to HIPPY tutors within the Children and Family Centre, which integrates early childhood, maternal and child health, and family support services. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm to empower parents as their child's first teacher and strengthen community leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in working in an early childhood service or system
- strong foundations in early childhood development
- strong foundations in early intervention programs for children and their families
- Strong administrative skills
- organisational skills
- time management skills
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Immunisation against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, COVID19 and pertussis (whooping cough)
- Satisfactory Police Criminal History Check
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children and young people) or willingness to apply for a Blue Card
