Job Summary
Deliver high-quality, in-person Hip Hop instruction to PreK-12 students, preparing daily using provided lesson plans, curriculum, and materials. Manage instructional supplies while engaging students in critical thinking and problem-solving activities. Maintain compliance with site expectations by arriving on time and reviewing all resources prior to the 03:10 PM - 04:10 PM Tuesday class session. Report to the Program Success Manager and participate in family engagement efforts such as welcome letters and showcases. This role supports youth in fostering a joy of learning through Nexplore's 80+ STEAM and Life Skills programs across 25+ US states.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree (or higher)
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to complete mandatory training
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
