Job Summary
Deliver hip hop and jazz dance instruction to PreK–4th grade students at Nexplore sites in Clayton, MO, adhering to a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Prepare by reviewing lesson plans and materials prior to each session, manage supplied instructional resources, and engage in professional communication with Program Success Managers and site personnel. Participate in family engagement efforts including welcome letters and showcases to empower student access to programs. This role supports the organization's mission to foster the joy of learning through STEAM and life skills solutions across 1200+ sites nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- AA Degree (or higher)
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Reliable transportation
- Willing to complete mandatory training
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
