Job Summary
Medical Records Prepper needed to obtain and organize patient health information for clinical encounters, create electronic health record entries, obtain records from referring physicians and hospitals, ensure completeness of testing/labs/reports in the EMR, and prepare charts for next-day clinic by 2:00 pm. Responsibilities include researching new patients’ records, sending electronic requests, maintaining accurate filing in the EMR, routing memos to physicians/medical assistants, and placing alerts for CAD patients without stress testing in the system.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 months of related experience and/or training
