Job Summary
Process accurate patient medical records by sorting, analyzing, releasing, storing, and ensuring data integrity in paper or electronic files. Assist in backing up HIM Technicians and other assigned duties as needed. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while operating office equipment and database systems. Requires high school diploma with Health Information Management degree preferred, strong data entry skills, and proficiency in computer systems. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of data entry and database systems
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of medical records process

- Demonstrates confidence and proficiency in use of computer

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
