Job Summary
Health Information/Medical Records Director Interim responsible for initiation, maintenance and filing of resident records in the facility and reporting to the administrator. Requires 2-4 years in medical records, supervisory skills, medical terminology knowledge, and familiarity with regulations and procedures. Nice-to-have: ICD coding knowledge; Accredited Records Technician certification; experience with PointClickCare. On-site role in Stockton, CA with full-time hours and competitive benefits; wage at $24/hour with potential for growth and continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years’ previous experience in medical records
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory skills to delegate, resolve conflict and respect diversity
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to understand and follow applicable regulations, policies and procedures
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and accept feedback
