HIM Director-FT

Oversee the development, management, and operational success of the Health Information Management (HIM) department, including Unbilled/Revenue Cycle, Master Patient Index, medical record imaging, and Release of Information. Monitor delinquent medical records, track KPIs such as scanning turnaround time, and ensure timely discharge record processing. Collaborate with the Facility Privacy Officer to maintain HIPAA and state/federal compliance, while supervising staff on data quality, confidentiality, and retention. Lead the Facility Forms Committee for standardization, coordinate with IT to resolve system issues, and develop policies to optimize quality and efficiencies. Schedule employees, conduct performance evaluations, and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with accrediting agencies and participate in audits. Day shift hours required; no immigration sponsorship available.
