Job Summary
The Residential Relief Staff position is responsible for supporting youth in Residential Programs on an on-call basis, performing essential functions under the supervision of the Program Manager. Key responsibilities include maintaining facility standards, managing resident files, transporting residents to various appointments, facilitating group activities, and providing crisis counseling. Required qualifications include a high school diploma, experience with at-risk youth, various clearances and certifications, and a valid driver's license. Ideal candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stress effectively.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate.
- At least one year of experience working with troubled or at-risk youth.
- Valid Hawaii Driver's License.
- Valid TB Clearance.
- Pre-Employment Medical Clearances
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- DHS FBI/Criminal History & CAN, and Salvation Army background clearances
- MVR records check, must meet Authorized Driving standards of the Salvation Army.
