Job Summary
Select or modify seating components according to measurements and specifications using air and battery-powered tools. Operate a hi-lo lift with clamp knowledge to move products and align parts to build complex units. Rotate between workstations as production needs require, while lifting up to 40 lbs. frequently. Complete assemblies following written work instructions while maintaining quality control principles. This entry-level opportunity includes provided training and no prior experience is necessary. Applicants must have reliable transportation and the ability to work the 1st shift.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable Transportation
- Good Attendance Record
- Ability to work 1st shift (shift start times vary by department)
- Must be able to operate a hi-lo and have knowledge of using clamp to move product
- Must be flexible in work assignments, as different seating models require different assembly operations
- Constantly lift and/or move up 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
- Good understanding of quality control principles
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, fulfillment, or production environment
