Job Summary
Application Development Senior Advisor for Oracle EBS R12 responsible for stability, efficiency, and compliance of enterprise applications across their lifecycle. This role supports both business and technology production operations, coordinating fixes, maintaining architecture currency, and driving operational excellence. Responsibilities include production fixes, issue resolution with upstream/downstream systems, monitoring and tuning job run times, coordinating batch cycles and releases, maintaining health checks, ensuring regulatory compliance (SOX, CIP), documenting processes and runbooks, collaborating with vendors, and supporting strategic initiatives and disaster recovery efforts. Required experience includes 13-16 years in production support, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12, SQL/PL-SQL, UNIX scripting, BI Publisher, and integration with Concur/Ariba/Vertex, with familiarity in global environments and regulatory frameworks; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The role is based in Hyderabad, India, and is a full-time position likely requiring on-site presence.
Required Qualifications
- 13-16 years minimum of experience in production support
- College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience
- Experience in enterprise application development using Oracle EBS R12: SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell scripting, BI Publisher
- Strong knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 Financial modules (GL/AP/FA/CM)
- Experience in integrations with Concur, Ariba and Vertex would be a plus
- Experience in global environments with multiple operating units, currencies and localizations
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) would be a plus
- Understanding of corporate business processes, including finance concepts, forecasting and budgeting
- Proven experience in application support and IT-business coordination (onshore-offshore model)
- Strong understanding of upstream/downstream integrations between mainframe, Oracle, and distributed services
- Experience with job scheduling tools, monitoring systems, and automation platforms
- Knowledge of SOX and CIP regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills
- Strong time management skills
