Job Summary
Application Development Associate Advisor on the Accounting & IM Team Mainframe is responsible for production support, troubleshooting with technology and business partners, coordinating fixes, monitoring batch runs to meet SLAs, and maintaining architecture currency. The role drives operational excellence through automation opportunities, sunset of obsolete jobs, and comprehensive documentation. Collaboration with vendors and compliance activities (SOX, CIP) are required, along with disaster recovery planning and regular operational reporting to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 8-11 years of experience in enterprise application development/mainframe
- Strong mainframe skills: COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, Easytrieve, REXX
- Experience with Endevor Software Manager for code promotion
- ESP scheduling
- CICS utilities such as CBAC, NEWCOPY
- Experience with OMEGAMON, logging/trace analysis
- Knowledge of SOX and CIP regulatory requirements
- Experience with job scheduling tools, monitoring systems, and automation platforms
- Experience coordinating IT and business production operations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Experience with onshore-offshore delivery models
