Job Summary
Application & Production Support role focusing on production fixes, troubleshooting with tech and business partners, monitoring and tuning job run times to meet SLAs/OLAs, managing batch cycles, code promotions, and release implementations. Responsibilities span architecture maintenance, automation opportunities, sunset of obsolete jobs/reports/applications per retention, comprehensive documentation (CMDB audits, runbooks, security diagrams, knowledge bases), vendor coordination for hosted solutions, compliance responses (SOX, CIP), and disaster recovery planning. Includes regular reporting of operational status to leadership and collaboration across IT and business teams to sustain application health and reliability.
