Job Summary
Application Development Analyst responsible for production fixes, issue resolution, and operational support for Evernorth Health Services applications. Duties include coordinating with upstream/downstream systems, monitoring job run times, tuning performance to meet SLAs/OLAs, managing batch cycles and code promotions, maintaining health checks and runbooks, updating CMDB and security diagrams, and collaborating with vendors to resolve hosted solution issues. Emphasis on automation opportunities to improve efficiency, sunset obsolete jobs, and support regulatory/compliance activities (SOX, CIP). Expected to support disaster recovery, risk management, and provide baseline support for strategic initiatives, with strong focus on development and production operations in a mainframe and enterprise Java/.NET environment, including REST APIs, microservices, and SOX/CIP regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong technology skills in area of technology – Mainframe
- 1-3 years of experience in enterprise application development using .NET Core and .NET Framework
- C#
- VB.NET (for legacy systems or modernization support)
- Crystal Reporting
- MVC Framework
- Visual Basic and ASP.net
- REST APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architecture
- Git and code quality tools
- Experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server and/or DB2 including query tuning and data modeling
- Experience with job scheduling tools, monitoring systems, and automation platforms
- Understanding of upstream/downstream integrations between mainframe, Oracle, and distributed services
- Regulatory compliance familiarity (SOX, CIP)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Onshore-offshore delivery model experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
