Job Summary
HIH - Application Development Advisor will provide application and production support, performing production fixes and troubleshooting with technology and business partners, coordinating with upstream/downstream systems for issue resolution, scheduling, and change notifications. Responsible for monitoring job run times, tuning performance to meet SLAs/OLAs, managing batch cycles and releases, maintaining health checks, and ensuring reliability/availability. Also responsible for architecture currency, identifying automation opportunities to improve efficiency, sunsetting obsolete jobs, and maintaining comprehensive documentation. Collaboration with software vendors for patching/packaging/firewall coordination, responding to infrastructure and compliance surveys, and supporting SOX/CIP/regulatory requirements. Supports strategic IT initiatives, performs small enhancements, and participates in disaster recovery and risk management. Communicates operational status to leadership and stakeholders and performs other duties as assigned.

- Operate and maintain batch cycles, code promotions, and release implementations
- Maintain application health checks and monitor reliability/availability
- Architecture and efficiency updates aligned with enterprise standards
- Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Sunset obsolete jobs, reports, and applications following retention protocols
- Documentation and knowledge management including CMDB audits, SMTD reviews, system runbooks, and security diagrams
- Update knowledge bases including process and procedures documentation
- Vendor coordination including patching, packaging, and firewall coordination
- Respond to infrastructure and compliance surveys (CSCI, CMDB Security Profiles)
- Support legal/regulatory requirements including SOX testing, CIP remediation, and segregation of duties
- Project and portfolio support for strategic initiatives
- Perform small enhancements as directed by business or leadership
- Disaster recovery testing and readiness of applications
- Support CIP initiatives and vulnerabilities remediation
- Prepare and present operational status reports (MOR decks, WSRs) to leadership
- Communicate production health, open issues, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
