Job Summary
Highway Sign Installer responsible for creating and installing roadway signs, preparing and installing signs, pavement marking, and related highway maintenance tasks on highways, bridges and other roadways. Must read plans and specifications, transport materials/tools, cut materials to size, assemble/install signs near high-traffic areas using pneumatic tools, operate vehicles and hand/power tools, and set up traffic control as needed. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays. 3-5 years of highway sign installation or related experience preferred; MOT Advanced certification desirable.
