Job Summary
Experienced Highway Engineer to join the Transportation team. Responsibilities include highway, roadway, and multi-modal design; conceptual and final design of roadway alignments; preparation and review of design criteria, calculations, drawings, estimates, and specifications; development of 3D modeling for roadway alignments; temporary traffic control; constructability reviews; typical section and pavement design; right-of-way and easement planning; and report writing. Strong communication, ability to work independently and in a team, and capability to balance concurrent projects. Requires BS in Civil Engineering, 5-10 years in transportation engineering, PE certification, and proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil3D; Microstation/Open Roads Designer experience and VDOT/LAP familiarity are a plus. Required Qualifications

- MS a plus
- 5-10 years of transportation engineering experience required
- PE required
- Demonstratable AutoCAD / Civil3D required
- Microstation / Open Roads Designer experience a plus
