Job Summary
Manage larger PennDOT and PA Turnpike highway design projects, including client communication, budgets, schedules, and quality control. Lead personnel management for assigned team members, providing coaching, mentoring, and annual performance evaluations. Create and track client proposals, develop budgets and schedules, and prepare workload forecasting reports. Ensure compliance with environmental, survey, and permitting requirements while managing project risk. Identify new markets, develop leads, and pursue business development opportunities across local municipalities and state agencies. Prepare technical and price proposals, coordinate contract agreements, and sign agreements within allotted parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of eight (8) years experience
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) or other professional licensure in field of expertise
- Must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team
- strong leadership & interpersonal skills
- strong time management skills
- Must be able to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner
- Must be proficient in public speaking, creating presentations, and delegation
- Knowledge of Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and ASTA
