Highway Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage larger PennDOT and PA Turnpike highway design projects, including preparation of technical and price proposals, budget development, and schedule tracking. Coordinate contract agreements, ensure compliance with environmental and permitting regulations, and lead business development to identify new markets and geographies. Direct project teams by mentoring staff, conducting performance evaluations, and managing risk in accordance with company policy. This role supports annual business goals and strategic planning for the Highway Design Department. Candidates must possess strong leadership skills and experience working independently and within project teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of eight (8) years experience
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) or other professional licensure in field of expertise
- Must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team
- strong leadership & interpersonal skills
- strong time management skills
- Must be able to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner
- Must be proficient in public speaking, creating presentations, and delegation
- Knowledge of Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and ASTA
