Highway Project Manager

Job Summary
Manage larger PennDOT and PA Turnpike highway design projects, including clients, municipalities, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. Plan and conduct independent evaluations, select techniques, and adapt procedures for project execution. Create and track client proposals, budgets, schedules, and workload forecasts while ensuring compliance with environmental, survey, and permitting regulations. Prepare technical and price proposals, coordinate contract agreements, and manage project risk per company policy. Coach, mentor, and guide team members, provide annual performance evaluations, and develop career plans. Identify new markets, develop leads, and pursue new geographies. Work independently and as part of a team with strong leadership skills, utilizing knowledge of Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and ASTA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of eight (8) years experience
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) or other professional licensure in field of expertise
- Must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team

- Must be able to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner
- Must be proficient in public speaking, creating presentations, and delegation
- Knowledge of Microstation, Open Roads Designer, and ASTA
