Job Summary
Oversee and manage overall engineering and design on conventional and design-build road and highway projects from design through construction. Lead the civil design team's technical deliverables, ensuring highest quality engineering meets all design criteria and MassDOT standards. Identify new business opportunities with current regional contacts, participate in the proposal process, and stay technically hands-on throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project schedules while driving win strategies, bid preparation, and client management. Requires 15+ years of heavy transportation infrastructure experience, MA PE, and project management certification. Salary range $125,100-$225,200.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Project Management or Civil Engineering related technical/business field
- At least 15+ years of design and project management delivery experience on heavy transportation infrastructure projects
- Experience meeting operations business goals, client management, win strategies, bid preparation
- Must have a proven track record of successful delivery for road/highway projects according to MassDOT standards – conventional and design/build project execution
- Experience working in the Massachusetts transportation markets
- MA PE is required
- Incumbent must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project
Desired Qualifications
- Design-Build Project Experience is not a requirement but is a major plus
