Job Summary
Maintenance Technicians perform highway maintenance tasks in the Nashville area, including pothole repair, debris removal, sign and bridge work, and installation/repair of guardrails and longitudinal cable barriers. The role requires operating heavy equipment, adhering to regulations, and working as part of a team with on-call, night, and weekend shifts. Candidates should have MOT certifications, CDL A, a clean driving record, and be able to pass fingerprinting, background checks, and drug testing. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- MOT Certifications
- CDL A
- Clean driving record
- Must pass criminal background check
- Fingerprinting required, provided by Company
- Background check process (MVR and substance testing)
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to use safety equipment
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
