Job Summary
Perform highway maintenance tasks including tree and brush removal, pothole repair, sign and guardrail repair, and hand rail installation. Operate heavy equipment such as wheel loaders and skidsteers while responding to incidents and adhering to federal, state, and local regulations. Work as part of a team in Adkins, TX, with flexibility for on-call, day, and night shifts. Maintain proper safety equipment, pass background checks, and possess a clean driving record. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 0-2 years of related experience in maintenance, repair, or installation of Guardrail, Cable rail, or Crash Cushion
- Roadway or tollway maintenance experience
- Concrete form work, concrete placement, and repairs
- Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, ForkLift, etc operator
- Clean driving record
- Must pass criminal background check
- High School Diploma/GED
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Carry out simple arithmetic functions
- Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
- Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
- Ability to use smart phone and applications
- Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
- Must be flexible and able to work on-call and nights when necessary
- Must be flexible and available to work on-call when required
- Day shift & Night shift needed
