Job Summary
Conduct highway maintenance services including cleaning culverts, mowing roadsides, patching pavement, and assisting with storm cleanup. Operate equipment and use hand and power tools for fence repair, sign maintenance, and debris removal. Respond to emergencies and perform tasks under close supervision while training in roadway routine maintenance. Must possess a valid driver's license, work in adverse weather, and lift moderately heavy objects. Earn $16.00/hour with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, plus a 401(K) and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving
- Able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Able to lift moderately heavy objects
- Accurate eye-hand coordination
- Ability to adapt to changing situations with work plans and work schedules due to workload or season
