Highway Maintenance Technician

Conduct highway maintenance and repairs including pothole patching, striping, reflector installation, and concrete/asphalt work. Set up and remove traffic control devices to ensure safe Maintenance of Traffic while maintaining contracted assets like roadways, signs, guardrails, and bridges per standards. Repair drainage systems, slopes, and culverts; control vegetation growth using mowing equipment and sprayers; and maintain signs, fences, and lighting. Work comfortably at heights using bucket trucks, scaffolding, or aerial platforms. Transport crew and equipment using pickup trucks and specialized vehicles, conducting preventative maintenance on trucks and machinery. Participate in emergency response rotations, including availability for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. Foster positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers while promoting a customer service-focused environment.
