Job Summary
Conduct daily highway maintenance and repairs including pothole patching, striping, reflector installation, and concrete/asphalt work. Set up and remove traffic control devices to ensure safe Maintenance of Traffic while maintaining roadway cleanliness through debris removal. Repair and maintain drainage systems, signs, guardrails, fences, and lighting, working comfortably at heights using bucket trucks and aerial platforms. Control vegetation growth and transport crew equipment using specialized vehicles. Participate in emergency response rotations, including availability for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. Maintain a positive safety culture by following all policies and fostering relationships with customers and subcontractors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 5 years)
- Open availability, including overtime and emergency on-call rotation
- Willing to travel as needed
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
- Must follow company drug and alcohol policy
Desired Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Advanced MOT certification
- Commerical Driver's License (Class A or B)
