Job Summary
Entry-level Highway Engineering Associate on the professional Engineer license track. Responsible for applying basic to intermediate engineering principles to complete design computations, prepare written technical reports, design plans and details, and assist with inspections and field work. Tasks include reviewing submittals, preparing and reviewing specifications and technical reports, ensuring code compliance and permit requirements, maintaining project documentation, and supporting QA/QC processes to improve deliverables. Requires developing technically accurate, clean, deliverable drawings and effective communication within a project team, with proficiency in Microstation, Open Roads, InRoads (Surfaces and Templates), and Microsoft Office. Education should be from an ABET-accredited program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree); Engineer in Training (EIT) is preferred. Prior internships in the A/E industry are advantageous. The role emphasizes collaboration, budget awareness, and adherence to standards while supporting growth within an employee-owned firm.”
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited school

- Internships in A/E industry preferred

- Strong oral & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
