Highway Engineering Associate II

Job Summary
Conduct roadway/highway analysis, design, plans production, specifications, reports, and estimates for conventional and design-build projects. Monitor labor budgets and schedules, coordinate with discipline key task leaders, and meet project deliverable schedules and budgets. Lead data collection efforts, prepare project documents using advanced software, edit specifications, and produce drawings and presentations. Perform as-needed field reviews of ongoing construction projects and conduct research to support engineering applications. Maintain knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Proficient in production software and construction document production
- Must possess strong oral and written communications skills
- Must have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- EI strongly preferred
- Experience working with Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads, Bluebeam REVU
