Job Summary
Conduct roadway and highway analysis, design, plans production, specifications, reports, and estimates for conventional and design-build projects. Monitor labor budgets and schedules, coordinate with discipline key task leaders, and support marketing and business development initiatives. Lead data collection efforts, prepare project documents using advanced software, edit specifications, and create drawings and presentations. Perform field reviews of ongoing construction projects and conduct research to support engineering applications while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of experience, and proficiency in production software such as Microstation and OpenRoads. Base salary ranges from $74,407 to $115,375 depending on location and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
- Proficient in production software and construction document production
- Must possess strong oral and written communications skills
- Must have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders
- Must be available for St. Charles, IL, or Chicago, IL office
Desired Qualifications
- EI strongly preferred
- Experience working with Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads, Bluebeam REVU
