Job Summary
Utilize production software to develop impact studies, cost analyses, and design requirements while leading data collection efforts. Prepare project documents, edit specifications and discipline reports, and create drawings, visual aids, and presentations. Perform as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects, and conduct research and investigations to support proposed engineering applications. Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local codes to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. This role supports RS&H's infrastructure team in delivering planning, environmental, and engineering design solutions for managed toll lanes, corridor plans, and roadway designs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program
- Three years relevant experience
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances
- Proficiency in production software and construction document production
- Passion for engineering
- Willingness to grow and learn
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders
