Highway Engineer

Job Summary
Assist in outside contact and communication, prepare or modify reports, specifications, plans, and designs for projects. Conduct capital improvement planning by providing cost estimates, feasibility studies, and developing recommendations. Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing, pavement marking plans, and traffic operations analysis. Obtain and analyze PennDOT's Highway Occupancy Permit Design Criteria. Review construction sites to monitor progress and serve as on-site project representatives. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience

- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD or OpenRoad)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License
