Highway Engineer

Job Summary
Assist in outside contact, prepare reports, specifications, and designs for capital improvement projects, and monitor construction site progress. Analyze PennDOT's Highway Occupancy Permit Design Criteria, develop cost estimates and feasibility studies, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing, and pavement marking plans. Serve as an on-site project representative while obtaining, analyzing, and recommending innovative solutions. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Valid Driver's License
Desired Qualifications
- EIT, FE, or PE
- Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation or AutoCAD or OpenRoad)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
