Job Summary
Design, maintain, and repair County highways and roads through professional engineering work. This role requires a master's or bachelor's degree in civil engineering with five or six years of experience in bridge and highway design and construction, plus an active NYS professional engineer license. The Oswego County Highway Department offers a salary range of $138,771 to $162,558 per year, including health, vision, dental, life insurance, NYS Retirement, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a master's degree in civil engineering
- five (5) years of engineering experience which shall have included bridge and highway design and construction
- bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- six (6) years of experience as listed above
- NYS license as a professional engineer
