Job Summary
Conduct roadway and highway analysis, design, and plans production for IDOT, county, and municipal clients. Prepare project specifications, compile data, and generate engineering reports and estimates for conventional and design-build projects. Monitor labor budgets and schedules, coordinate with discipline leaders, and perform quality control reviews. Execute as-needed field reviews of ongoing construction projects and provide technical guidance to junior staff. Maintain professional licensure and adhere to federal, state, and local codes while managing multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
- PE licensure
- Proficient in production software and construction document production
- Must possess strong oral and written communications skills
- Must have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, and other key stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Microstation, InRoads, OpenRoads, Bluebeam REVU
