Job Summary
Perform highway lighting repair and maintenance while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations and Jorgensen Company policies. Maintain proper safety equipment, operate hand and power tools, and carry out simple arithmetic functions. Adapt to changing work schedules, including day, night, or weekend shifts, and adjust to varying environmental and weather conditions. Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds with strenuous manual labor required. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 07:30 am – 04:00 pm, with flexibility to work outside these hours if needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years prior electrical work
- High School Diploma/GED
- Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
- Carry out simple arithmetic functions
- Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
- Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
- Ability to use smart phone and applications
- Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
- Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
- Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds
- Ability to operate hand/power tools
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO WORK DAY, NIGHT OR WEEKENDS IF NEEDED
