Job Summary
Highway Design Project Manager responsible for the end‐to‐end delivery of highway design initiatives for DOT and municipal clients. Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure on‐time, on‐budget project execution, and advocate for client objectives. Responsibilities include managing lifecycle from concept through design to delivery, applying DOT standards and permits, leveraging Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads for high‐fidelity models, coordinating across transportation planning, traffic engineering, and construction administration, and communicating with DOT and municipal stakeholders to translate engineering challenges into actionable project alignments.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of highway design and project management experience
- Software Proficiency: Expert with Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of DOT project delivery processes and standard specifications
