Job Summary
Manage and coordinate the delivery of highway and bridge projects for municipal, provincial, federal, and private-sector clients across Alberta. Lead project planning, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management while coordinating internal design teams, sub-consultants, and external stakeholders. Support procurement activities, including proposal preparation and cost estimate reviews, and monitor project performance, financials, and resourcing to ensure alignment with contractual requirements. Prepare project documentation, facilitate client meetings, and assist with business development efforts. Requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 4+ years of experience, PEng or PMP, and no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management
- Experience in bridge, highway projects municipal roadways and/or general transportation projects
- PEng or PMP
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally 8+ years demonstrated experience delivering municipal roadway or highway and/or bridge projects
- Experience working on projects for local municipal, provincial, federal, and or private sector clients
- Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in both in-person and virtual team environments
- Experience managing projects through planning, design, and/or construction phases
- Knowledge of local jurisdiction standards, specifications, and project delivery practices
- Experience with consultants, contractors, and public-sector clients
- Familiarity with construction contract administration and change management processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
- Demonstrated experience in leading and support winning proposal efforts
