Job Summary
Provide expert communication support and deliver staff training and consultations to empower school staff. Supervise and mentor Therapists and Assistants while creating communication-inclusive environments across mainstream schools. Partner in multidisciplinary intervention planning and drive whole-school communication strategies, ensuring interventions are effectively integrated into school life. Operate through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice to support children and young people. This permanent 37.5-hour role offers up to £58,000 per annum plus bonuses, with 25 days annual leave and extensive CPD opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
