Job Summary
Provide expert communication support, deliver staff training and consultations, and supervise and mentor Therapists and Assistants. Create and support communication-inclusive environments while partnering in multidisciplinary intervention planning to drive whole-school communication strategies. Collaborate with teaching teams to model interventions and integrate them into school life using a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. Equip key adults with skills to support pupils in achieving therapy goals across mainstream schools in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. This Permanent role offers 37.5 hours per week with a salary up to £58,000 plus bonuses, including 25 days annual leave and a 10% daily rest trial.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
