Job Summary
Provide expert communication support and deliver staff training and consultations to empower school staff in mainstream settings. Supervise and mentor Therapists and Assistants while creating communication-inclusive environments and partnering in multidisciplinary intervention planning. Drive whole-school communication strategies by ensuring interventions are effectively integrated into school life through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. This role shapes inclusive education strategy within the Outcomes First Group's multidisciplinary hub, offering a permanent contract with 37.5 hours per week and up to £58,000 per annum.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
