Job Summary
Provide expert communication support and deliver staff training and consultations across mainstream schools in Hillingdon, Uxbridge, and Isleworth. Supervise and mentor Therapists and Assistants while partnering in multidisciplinary intervention planning to drive whole-school communication strategies. Create communication-inclusive environments by equipping key adults with skills to support pupils in achieving therapy goals, ensuring interventions are effectively integrated into school life through a graduated response model aligned with the SEND Code of Practice. This role shapes inclusive education strategy within a multidisciplinary team, offering a permanent 37.5-hour contract with up to £58,000 per annum plus bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- BSc, PGDip or MSc in Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registration
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience working at a specialist level with this client group in a similar setting
- Highly experienced in providing professional and clinical supervision
- Highly experienced in developing training
- All successful applicants will be subject to a fully enhanced DBS
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of implementing universal strategies and targeted interventions
- Experience working with complex behaviours
- Experience completing assessments for Education, Health, and Care Plans
- Specialist CPD and/or training
- Trauma-Informed care experience
- Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs
